PURPOSE:To realize a watch, which is highly accurate at a low power consumption, by connecting capacitors in series with quartz oscillators and by interchanging the resultant series elements with the use of a switch. CONSTITUTION:A switch S is selected in accordance with temperature so that any of quartz oscillators X may be excited. Capacitors Cx are connected in series with the oscillators so that their frequency changed may be utilized. Even if the frequency-temperature characteristics of the quartz oscillating circuit including X1 follow the curves a and c in Drawing when the switch s is interchanged from B to A, the capacitor Cx1 is made so variable that the satisfactory characteristics shown in curve b can be obtained. |
