<p>Latex of a rubbery polymer is prepd. from a soln. of the polymer in an org. solvent by emulsifying the soln. in an org. solvent, and evapg. the org. solvent so that a foam prod. is formed from almost all the emulsion components, the solvent being sepd. from the foam prod. in the gaseous state by leading the foam prod. into a radially symmetrical space, in which a rotational flow is developed by a gas and/or vapour stream. Gives stable, high quality latex. No coagulation of the polymer occurs.</p> |
