摘要 PURPOSE:To poroduce musical tone signals close to those of natural musical instruments readily with a simple constitution by forming the musical tone signal waveforms based on the frequency spectra of the musical tone signals having been converted through multiplication of required transmission functions. CONSTITUTION:The musical tone signal frequency spectrum signals Zm (k) of higher harmonic frequency order K being read out from a memory device 6 according to touched keys are multiplied by the constants having been stored in a register 7 at a multiplier circuit 8 and are then applied to an adder 1. On the other hand, the frequency spectrum signals which are multiplied by the transmission coefficients changing according to the higher harmonic orders from the register 4 by a multiplier circuit 5 after the outputs of the circuit 1 have been delayed for 1 period by a RAM 3 are applied to this circuit 1, thereby becoming the frequency spectrum signals having undergone specified conversion, by which the musical tone waveform signals are formed from a Fourier transformation circuit 2 which performs reverse Fourier transformation sequentially. Hence, the musical tone waveform signals through desired spectrum conversion are formed with the simple constitution and the musical tone signals close to those of natural musical instruments through easy setting of timbres, etc. may be produced.
