PURPOSE:To prevent a crew constraining band from being jammed in a crew constraining band winder by detecting the tension of the residue of at least one of two crew constraining bands wound into the winder and stopping the feeding rotation of a winding shaft of the winder if the tension is less than predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:If a crew constraining band winder is so operated that a tong plate 14 is moved to apply tension only to a shoulder constraining band 12, a waist constraining band 10 wound on the outside of the band 12 is also fed out when the band 12 is fed out to cause the band 10 to be deflected at a frame 28 and to be entangled with a member 50 or the like as a fault. Since the tension of the residue of the band 12 is detected by a detection arm 60 to allow a locking arm 62 to tilt the member 50 in this case, the member 50 is engaged with a ratchet wheel 40 to stop feeding operation of the wheel 40. Accordingly, it can prevent the band from being jammed. |
