A demountable plant growth support suitable for seasonal growth plants such as tomatoes and runner beans comprises a central metal tubular column 3 with detachable plant support tie brackets 4, 14 mounted thereto. A ground level bracket 14 comprises a ring 15 incorporating a diametric spoke 16 which is mounted in an aperture in column 3 inwardly of an end thereof, the end section 13 of column 3 forming a ground insertion spike. Bracket 5 is mounted at the top of the column 3 and is in the form of a wire frame having an array of radial wire elements incorporating legs 7 which mount into the end of column 3. Ties 10 are passed between brackets 5 and 14, the latter providing spacing of the ties 10 outwardly of and at intervals about column 3 commensurate to a desirable spacing of plants to be supported. <IMAGE> |
