<p>PURPOSE:To reduce size of the stabilized power source by making small a temperature fuse section for detecting abnormal temperatur rise of a transformer. CONSTITUTION:A stablilized power source uses a transformer 3, in which a spacer 15 of such material as nylon adapted to be fused at a predetermined temperature is interposed between a retainer 14 for holding channel-shaped core members 3c and 3d and the corresponing surface of the core member 3d, and also in which a coil spring 16 is interposed between the core members 3c and 3d in such a manner that it is adapted to increase a gap 3e. With this arrangement, with increase of the temperature the spacer 15 s fused, whereby the gap 3e between the cores 3c and 3d is increased to reduce the inductance of the primary winding 3e. In this way, it is possible to prevent rupture of the transformer and other elements.</p> |
