O-Alkyl-O-[6-tert.-butyl-pyrimidin(4)yl](thiono)(thiol)-phosphoric(pho sphonic) acid esters of the formula <IMAGE> (I) in which R is hydrogen, halogen or alkyl, R1 is hydrogen or alkyl, R2 is alkyl, R3 is alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or phenyl, and X is oxygen or sulphur. which possess insecticidal and acaricidal properties.
