Warm control for i/c engines, partic. for oxygen sensor governed engines, involves a feed unit for input of the correct fuel amount in relation to the combustion air, a fuel feed pump, and a control throttle. The latter automatically sets a constant feed pressure for input fuel. Parallel to the control throttle (4) is at least one timing valve (3) which is closed in the rest position, and which, during the warm up phase of the engine, opens on a time basis. An electronic control unit, activated by engine measurement data, is provided to produce time impulses of variable length. The time valve (3) cycle is such that it is switched on for longer periods at the commencement of the warm up phase than at the end. |
