PURPOSE:Toxicity-free title composition stabilized against deterioration caused by heat and light, that contains a specific metal hydroxide and a metal complex of beta-diketone. CONSTITUTION:Said composition comprises (A) 100 parts by wt of a halogen- containing resin, (B) 0.01-20 parts of a least one selected from hydroxides, oxides and basic inorganic salts of Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn, Ti, Al, Zr, and Sn, and (C) 0.01-1.0 part of a complex salt selected from combinations of beta-diketones of formula I (R1, R3 are H, alykl, aryl, alkyl-aryl, arylalkyl, cycloalkyl; R2 is H, alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl, formula II, R4 is alkyl, aryl) with a metal selected from Li, Na, K, Zn, Ba, Ca, Mg, Sr, Al, and Sb. EFFECT:Said composition is useful as rigid polyvinyl chloride resin composition in which lead stabilizers can not be employed. |
