PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts, improve assembling characteristic, eliminate variations in operation owing to the mounting error and enhance reliability by integrally forming the rest base, receiving tray and mounting base of the spherical earthquake sensing device so as to become mutually vertical or horizontal. CONSTITUTION:The main body of the earthquake sensing device consists of a rest base 3 for placing of a spherical earthquake sensing element 2, a receiving tray 6 having a recess 7 and a sloped face 8 on the top, a mounting base 12 for supporting the bottom of the receiving tray 6 and a base plate 13 mounted to the surface to be mounted as the side wall of a boiler, etc. and these are integrally formed wih a synthetic resin so that the mutual datum planes become vertical or parallel. When the boiler vibrates owing to earthquake, etc., the earthquake sensing element 2 falls from the top of the rest 3 and is rolled by the lsoped face 8 of the receiving tray 6, directly pushing the push-button 21 of a micro-switch 20 and causing the switch to go ON. To reset the earthquake sensing element 2 after this, the operating shaft 29 of a reset lever 26 is pushed up and the earthquake sening element 2 is lifted by the arm of the bar 25. The earthquake sensing lelement 2 is then rolled by the tapered part thereof and is rested onto the receiving hole 4 of the rest base 3. |
