<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [R is (CX3)nCXm or formula II (X is H, F, Cl or Br; n is 1-3; m is 0-2, provided that m+n=3; R' is CN, NO2, halogen or halogenated alkyl; l is 0-6)]. EXAMPLE:Tri(1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propylyl)phosphite. USE:A phosphite-forming agent useful in efficient synthesis of oligonucleotide. Nucleoside is subjected to phosphite formation to provide a novel phosphite unit which is an intermediate for synthesis of oligonucleotide. PREPARATION:An alcohol expressed by the formula ROH is reacted with phosphorus trichloride at a ratio of alcohols of 3-4 equivalent based on phosphorus trichloride in the presence of tertiary salt such as pyridine of 3-4 equivalent in an inert solvent of THF, etc., at ambient temperature for 2-5hr.</p> |
