<p>PURPOSE:To provide optimum heating, by selecting necessary heating coils among various kinds of series placed on a vertical rack through change-over between the power source and cooling. CONSTITUTION:Several kinds of heating coils 1a, 1c are fixed to rack 10. A hopper 6 is provided with a pusher 9, conveyor 8, and shooter 7, and a lift table 4 vertically drives slat conveyors 3b in accordance with the heating coils. The coils are switched to the power source or cooling water in accordance with the kind of billet and the position of the slat conveyors 3b is adjusted to the coils, then the billet is extruded by the pusher 9 for heat treatment.</p> |
