The method of influencing the blood circulation of a patient uses contacts in the form of inserts positioned under the feet of the patient. These can be metal plates or metal foil shapes acting as heating members. They are of different shapes and sizes dependent on the part of the sole of the foot to be contacted. The position of a contact plate depends on the part of the body whose circulation is to be influenced. The plates can be of zinc or copper sheet about 0.5 mm thick.
