<p>The handle grip (1) for a weapon incorporates a heating system so that the trigger (7) can be squeezed in cold weather without impairing the accuracy due to handling conditions. A channel (2) through the grip holds a cartridge filler with a chemical fuel material which canbe oxidised. This cartridge is designed for easy removal and replacement. At the top of the channel are openings (4, 5) through which the warm air generated is directed towards the trigger. The cartridge is retained by a wire spring and is operated by an igniter charge.</p> |
