<p>The towing hook of the vehicle is fitted with special clamps (1) to grip a telescopic safety bar (2) with an oval cross section, at the end of which is fitted a cross bar (3). The cross bar links to the overun safety brakes for the single axled trailer. The oval profile prevents twisting of the safety bar and allows large brake control forces to be transmitted without danger of mechanical failure.</p> |
