Vapour extractor hood with saturation indicator - is for grease and/or odour filter and uses electrochemical indicator in glass tube

The unit is used to indicate the degree of saturation of the fat and/or odour filter and comprises an electrochemical indicator which is mounted in glass indicator tube (1) and which is switched into the operating circuit of the extractor hood. The indicator tube (1) can form a series connection with a diode (2) and a preliminary resistance. A time proportional separation takes place inside the glass tube which during the course of time leads to a visible contrast inside the glass tube. At the end of a specific time interval it can clearly be seen whether the or each filter need be changed in the hood.
