Suction equipment for powdery material - incorporates ejector type suction pump and cyclone type separator

The equipment which sucks up material in powdery or granular form, has a pipe connected to a suction pump and incorporates a separator for the material from compressed air. The pump is of the ejector type, and can have a central suction pipe (4, 6) enclosed by an opening through which a medium is delivered under pressure. The separator can be a cyclone (8). There can be an annular draught chamber round the suction pipe, and from which a passage of hyperbolic section leads to the suction pipe.
