The grinding installation for dental plaster casts, has a disc shaped grinding wheel (10) with a flat horizontal grinding surface (9) positioned underneath a perforated work table (17). Through the centre of this grinder, passes the drive spindle (12) for a hollow cylindrical grinding wheel which projects above the surface of the work table. Both grinders rotate about the same vertical axis formed by the output spindle (3) of the motor (2) undernearth. A suction system is used to remove dust from the working area. Both grinders have emery cloth layers secured by an adhesive. The middle annular part (21) of the work table can be removed.
