The transport vessel is for fluid, gases or other free-flowing materials, being of flexible material and folding when empty. It comprises two or more hose-type part-containers (4), joined together over a small fraction of their outer periphery for their whole length, without their interiors being connected. A one or both ends there can be a folded sealing seam (14) extending diametrally across each part-container. When empty, these seams lie on the baseplate (9) common to the containers and when full extend upwards from it at an acute angle.
