PURPOSE:A head for blow molding wherein an arc-shaped resin path is provided in the manifold to distribute uniformly the cylindrical resin from the extruder, thereby making the resin pressure uniform and giving good parisons with uniform wall thickness. CONSTITUTION:The resin, plasticized in the extruder and extruded in the form of cylinder, is sent through resin inlet 36 and separated equally at resin path 4 in the manifold. The separated resin is passed through path 5 and made into a ring at path 6. Thus the cyclindrical resin is transformed into a pipe in resin trap 3 and extruded through ring plunger 1 and orifice 11 to form parison. |
