The structure, which is flame-permeable and intended to be brought to incandescence, consists of a protection plate (13), to which a bolt (14) is welded. The bolt (14) bears fins (15) and a perforated plate (16), the whole being height-adjustable on a support (6). This robust structure improves the combustion and thus reduces the fumes and soot deposits in the furnace of a central heating boiler. <IMAGE>
