Cardiac insufficiency treatment compsn. - contains 4-methyl: proscillaridine and verapamil in specified ratio

Pharmaceutical compsn. contains 4-methylproscillaridine (I) and Verapamil in a ratio of 3-3:800. The compsn. may be administered orally. The concn. of 4-methylproscillaridine increases from 0.6mg/ml to 1.3 mg/ml. When daily doses of 0.75mg (I) and occasionally 0.75mg (I) mixed with 240 mg Verapamil were administered for a week. Side-effects were reduced by about one third.
