<p>PURPOSE:TO heighten a response speed at a time of anomalousness, by providing an amplifier of break-curve characteristic, capable of setting adjustment so as to obtain a gain different in ranges respectively, low and high deviation input signal. CONSTITUTION:An excitation winding 2 of a generator 1 is energized by an AC exciter 4. A current in an excitation winding 5 of th exciter 4 is detected by a detector 34, being compared, by a deviation amplifier 21, with an output signal of voltage setter unit that comprises potential transformers 6, 7 and induction regulators 8, 9. An output signal of the deviation amplifier 21 is applied to a break-curve amplifier 42 having a characteristic as shown in the drawing. When the generator 1 is normal operatiom, operation, a lowgain characteristic will be provided in a range of straight lines A, B, however, if caused an anomalousness in the system, a high output will be produced at a level exceeding that in the range of A, B, with a gain heightened of an automatic voltage regulator (AVR) like a thyristor firing device 26, thyristor amplifier 27, etc., and a response speed is increased in the excitation system.</p> |
