Furnace setting pressure control - linked to combustion air and gas control via gas governor with extension to outlet damper flap positioner

Regulation of gas heated industrial furnaces is by balancing governor which controls the gas pressure w.r.t. the inlet air pressure which is in turn regulated by the furnace temp. The governor posn. is detected by a monitor and this is then used to position the furnace outlet damper. In this way if an increase in loading is needed, the damper is automatically opened and the furnace pressure remains constant. Used for controlling industrial gas fired furnaces e.g. pusher furnaces. Allows the furnace pressure to remain constant whatever the load i.e. at optimum condition of not excessive draught or pressure.
