<p>The buffer for a loom picker stick is composed of four plate springs without any guide support, which are linked together at the outer edge and at the mounting drilling, with a snap connection at least at the outer edge. This is formed by extending the edge of the plate spring into a cylindrical lip. Specifically the inner edges of the plate springs are connected by a snap coupling formed by a tubular connecting piece clicked into the ends of the central springs by its edges. The connecting piece is made of a polyurethane elastomer or a high molecular polyethylene. The design ensures that the dynamic spring forces of the buffer are maintained so that it does not distort in use and the picker stick strikes the same spot, which increases the life of the picker stick.</p> |
