In the ceiling structure a suspended main T-girder and cross T-girder are set at right angles to provide fields or ceiling panels, lamps and other fittings. The main T-girder (10) incorporates a vertical support rib (15) with a vertical slit (23) and a horizontal flange (17) extending below this on both sides. The flange has a channel (18) on both sides to hold ceiling panels (38), with vertical inner walling and horizontal top walling. Connection also involves a lug (25) at the end of the cross T girder (11, 12), fitting the slit in the rib. This lug has an underside hook (30) fitting across the horizontal and vertical walling of the gutter. Cross girders can be hung in position from below, with no need to leave any appreciable interval between main and suspended ceilings. |
