Reaction of water to be treated with the chemicals required for adjusting pH takes place in a flow-pipe, in process for neutralising acid and/or alkaline waste-waters. - Pref. addition and admixture of chemicals with water takes place through an ejector built into flow-pipe, and pref. water is charged by a pump, pref. after collecting all waters to be treated in a pump-receiver. Pref. waters treated pass an end-control in the flow-pipe before leaving canal.
