A triazine of the formula I <IMAGE> (I) in which R1 and R2 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C18-alkyl, C6-C18-aryl, C7-C18-aralkyl or a radical of the formula II or III <IMAGE> in which R3 is hydrogen or C1-C8-alkyl and R4 is hydrogen, oxyl, C1-C12-alkyl, C3-C6-alkenyl, C3-C4-alkinyl, C2-C21-alkoxyalkyl, C7-C8-aralkyl, 2,3-epoxypropyl, an aliphatic acyl group with 1-9 C atoms or one of the groups -CH2COOR5, -CH2-CH(R6)-OR7, -COOR8 or -CONHR8, in which R5 is C1-C12-alkyl, C3-C6-alkenyl, phenyl, C7-C8-aralkyl or cyclohexyl and R6 is hydrogen, methyl or phenyl and R7 denotes hydrogen, an aliphatic or aromatic, araliphatic or alicyclic acyl group with 1-18 C atoms, in which the aromatic part can optionally be substituted by chlorine, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C8-alkoxy and/or by hydroxyl, and R8 denotes C1-C12-alkyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or benzyl and A is a radical of the formula IV or V <IMAGE> in which R3 and R4 have the above meaning, n is 1, 2 or 3 and R9 is hydrogen or hydroxyl and Y is -O- or -NR10-, in which R10 is hydrogen, C1-C18-alkyl, C6-C10-aryl, C7-C18-aralkyl or a radical of the formula II with the above meaning, or A is -P(=O)(OR1)OR2, -S-R11, -NR12R13 or -OR14, in which R1 and R2 have the above meaning, R11 is C1-C18-alkyl, C5-C7-cycloalkyl, C6-C10-aryl, C7-C9-aralkyl or the group -(CpH2p)-CO-OR15, in which R15 is C1-C18-alkyl, and p denoteS 1 to 6 and R12 and R13 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C18-alkyl, C3-C4 -alkenyl, C5-C7-cycloalkyl, C6-C10-aryl, C7-C9-aralkyl or a radical of the formula II with the above meaning, and R14 denotes C1-C18-alkyl, C6-C10-aryl or C7-C9-aralkyl, and B is a radical of the formula IV or V with the above meaning or is -P(=O)(OR1)OR2, in which R1 is a radical of the formula II or III with the above meaning and R2 has the above meaning, and its salts, as additives for stabilizing organic material.
