Indicator device on a coin-operated time monitor, for example a parking meter. A rotatably mounted disc (1) with a marking and a fixed part assigned to the disc (1) for reading off the time are arranged readably in a housing. A circular disc (1) possesses, over a larger part of its angular range, a time scale (2) and, following the latter opposite to the direction of rotation (3), over a remaining smaller part of its angular range, a coloured zone (4a) for monitoring the elapsed time, the disc (1) being readable through a cutout (7) of a stationary mast (5). A large angular range for an exact and clear indication is used here. <IMAGE>
