PURPOSE:To manufacture the title decorative board without damaging the decorative top sheet, by placing the decorative sheet to an attracting surface of a suction pad furnished with a number of retractable piston bars, attracting the sheet by retracting the bars, contacting the suction pad with a grooved board, and protruding the bars. CONSTITUTION:A flixible decorative sheet 4 is placed on the attracting surface 1 of a suction pad 3 furnished with a number of suction holes and a number of retractable piston bars 2. The piston bars are retracted one by one from one edge of the pad thereby attracting the decorative sheet 4 along the attracting surface 1 and the inner walls of the grooves formed by the retraction of the bars. A grooved board 8 furnished with a number of grooves 6 having equal pitch to that of the piston bars 2, and coated its surface 7 and the inner walls of the grooves 7 with an adhesive, is brougth into contact with said suction pad with attracted sheet 4. The piston bars 2 are protruded into the grooves 6, thereby pressing the sheet 4 to the surface 7 and the inner walls of the grooves 6 of the board 8 and bonding the sheet to the board with the adhesive. |
