<p>The conveyor belt (5) for a mine conveyor is supported by rollers so that it has a shallow trough shape in cross section. The belt is enclosed inside a protective duct with a sealing flap at its outlet ends, and includes an arrangement of seals along the edges of the sloping parts (29). These seals are constructed as brushes. Angles (21) attached along the bottom edges of the duct support the upper brushes (22, 23, 41), the outside portions (41) enclosing the edges of the belt, acting against its top surface and underside. The duct itself incorporates horizontal hinged joints.</p> |
