PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconducting material having a high superconductivity transition temp. and contg. no highly poisonous component in a short sintering time by using a compsn. contg. a group IIIa element of the periodic table, Pb, Sr, Ca and Cu. CONSTITUTION:An oxide superconducting material having a compsn. contg. at least Ln (Ln is one or more kinds of elements selected among Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu and Sc), Pb, Sr, Ca and Cu is produced, e.g., by weighing powders of Yb2O3, PbO, SrCO3, CaCO3 and CuO in 1:1:2:2:3 molar ratio of Yb:Pb:Sr:Ca:Cu, mixing them, calcining and sintering the mixture. A ceramic superconductor having >=70K transition temp. at the onset can be obtd. |
