<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish uniform formation of micro-organism film without excessive thickness of the film formed on the surface of the rotary disc through a periodically repeated inversion of the flow of the intended water in the treatment tank. CONSTITUTION:In the rotary disc biological treatment apparatus, a channel is provided at either end of a treatment tank 1 in which a plurality of rotary discs adapted to rotate at a given rate are dipped to supply or discharge the intended water. The flow of the intended water is repeatedly inverted in a pediorical manner from the direction of the arrow as shown in the top drawing to that of the arror as shown in the bottom drawing.</p> |
