CONSTITUTION:Blood or bile sample is put via sample tube 5 into a sample case 3 supported with a support ring 4. While being heated under shaking with a hot water shaking bath 2, the sample rotates and moves, reaching the position corresponding to a reagent adding tube 6. The mixed reagent of the sample 3alpha-HSD and NAD is which enzyme has been made immobile through heating is added and the sample under shaking reaches the position opposing to a suction tube 9. From the sample case 3', the mixed sample is led into the fluorescent flow cell 7 of a fluorophotometer 8 and the fluorescence of the NADH NADH is determined at an excitation wavelength 340nm, fluorescence wavelength 450nm. The sample having finished of measurement is discharged through discharged through discharge pipe 10. And the bile acid concentration in the sample is operated from the fluorescence determination value.
