In a slatted roller blind with slats guided via end pins (22) in longitudinal slots (20) of lateral housings (2), each end pin is connected rigidly to a two-armed pivot lever (26) arranged in the lateral housing. Corresponding arms of two adjacent pivot levers are interconnected via in each case two links (32', 32'', 34', 34'') of in each case one plate link chain (32, 34). The lateral housing has a support bearing (66), on which the end pin (22, 70) of the uppermost slat rests when the slat set is lowered. Connecting members (54, 56, 58, 60, 62, 64), which are connected to a pivot drive (14) arranged on a raising shaft (12), bear drivers (42, 44) which are arranged in the lateral housing and which are designed as bearings for the arms of the pivot lever (40) of the uppermost slat. The lateral housing has an end section (6) which extends beyond the drivers and which receives the raised gathered slat set. These measures make it possible better to utilise the height of the slat box. <IMAGE>
