The packaging (10) is formed from a sheet blank of semi rigid material to enclose an article such as a bottle. The faces have concertina-like folds and the inwardly projecting edges fit around the article. The ends of the blank are superposed and connected together to form one face of the packaging, one end having lateral flaps which are folded back over the other end to assemble the packaging. At least one face may have a hole to fit around, for example, the neck of the bottle.
