The sliding instrument determines the keys of certain fundamental chords. It consists of an elongated window in a holder with an adjustable keyboard' strip. The keys are similar to piano keys, divided into equal size compartments. The strip in the window is adjustable to align with corresponding columns of chord tables. The chord table (21, 22) is marked on a separate sliding chord sheet (3), which may be shifted across the keyboard strip (3) behind the last table in the holder (1). One row of chords (24) is also visible in the window (5, 6), apart from the chord table.
