INORGANIC FIBER MATERIAL WITH COATED LAYER ON THE SURFACE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:A hot-melt adhesive is melt sprayed on the surface of a porous inorganic fiber layer and a surface coating material is adhered thereto, thus improving the operation circumstance and reducing titled inorganic fiber material with coated layer on the surface with ecomonical advantage. CONSTITUTION:Rockwool fiber layer 7 is transferred with conveyor 8 and sprayed with a melted hot-melt adhesive by spray gun 11 in heating hood 9 to form hot-melt adhesive layr 12. Then surface-converting material 14 that is fed from roll 13 is placed on the surface of the adhesive layer by pressing roll 15. The edges of both sides are cut by cutter 16 and the product is sent by conveyor 17 and then cut by cutter 18 in prescribed length to give said surface coated material.
