Supermarket trolley with supports for large packets - using open grids at front and/or rear of basket

The supermarket wire trolley has support grids (5) set behind and/or in front of the trolley basket to support bulky items. The items can be stacked on the grids, and are stabilised by lateral frames and the handgrips (9) of the trolley. The trolley is able to carry large and heavy items without affecting access to the smaller items in the baskets. The grids can be rigid or can be folded down for operation. They do not interfere with the stacking of the trolleys.
