<p>A lathe (6) for rotational forming of sheet metal components has a cross slide (24) which is located on a slide (10) that moves parallel to the lathe spindle axis. The longitudinal slide (10) is operated by a programmable control circuit. The cross slide (24) which carries the form press roller (23) is controlled by a copying template (17) that produces the finished shape of the component (4). A control finger (13), driven by a stepper motor follows the sensor head (11, 12) which detects the component shape from the template.</p> |
