3-Amino carbonyl 2-thienyl oxamate(s) - are oral antiallergic agents of low toxicity

Thienyl oxamates of formula (I) are new. (where R3 = H, 1-8C alkyl or M where M is a non-toxic metal; A = a covalent bond or -CH=CH-; L and B = H, 1-8 C alkyl, 3-6C alkenyl, phenyl, 2-6C alkanoyl or together form a 5-7C cycloalkene ring which may be substd. by R; R = 1-8C alkyl). (I) are antiallergic agents, useful for the treatment of asthma, hay fever and food allergies. They have low toxicity, lack of side-effects, and are administrable orally.
