<p>Sheets of contact adhesive are covered on both faces with masking paper which can be removed (a) to allow the adhesive to be applied to a support, e.g. a page of a photograph album, and (b) to accept an item of similar size and shape to the adhesive sheet to be secured. Arrangement is quicker to use and more secure than e.g. positioning of several relatively small adhesive pads to accept the corners of the item to be mounted. The covers of large adhesive sheets may be marked with calibrated grids to facilitate cutting to size. The adhesive sheet may have plain tabs appended to accept titles, dates etc. to qualify the items secured.</p> |
