<p>In a process and an apparatus for counting and parting a continuous stream of folded boxes arranged on one of their edges, a movable counter is moved over and engages the upper edges of the stream of boxes in conjunction with a separating device selectively movable to either block the end of the stream of boxes to allow them to be urged upright and to allow the discharge of a predetermined number of counted boxes from the stream, whereupon the righting and counting steps are repeated ready for the next discharge.</p> |
