Date May 22, 1986.A device is disclosed which is especially adapted for use in activating the combustion process in combustion systems equipped with a combustion chamber supplied with solid, liquid or gaseous fuel. The device employs a container which is partially filled with water and which is supplied with compressed air such that the compressed air flows through the water before being delivered to the combustion chamber, whereby the air is made moist. On its way to the combustion chamber, the moist air flows through a chamber containing a buffer liquid. A conduit extends between the chamber containing the buffer liquid and another chamber, the conduit having a transmission cross section selected such that a shock-absorbing function is performed. |
