The vehicle windscreen wiper has dual baldes fixed onto a standard windscreen wiper arm by means of a special adaptor. This adaptor has three prongs, the two outer ones being used to accommodate the wiper blades fixed at a suitable angle to the windscreen. The central prong is used to accommodate the nozzle of a windscreen cleaning unit, this replacing the nozzle on the bonnet and having a flexible tube connecting it to the unit. The cleaning jet is used normally, the fluid being evenly distributed between the wiper blades.
