<p>In a valve, for use particularly in sanitary installations, two plates (21, 22) are provided as valve components the two plates being superposed, plane and smooth and movable one against the other into a box (7), the plates (21, 22) having one or several through openings for one or several fluids. With a view to obtaining a simpler assembly and to lowering the costs, both plates (21, 22), their joints and their sliding elements, form a package (6). This package (6) is placed, at a prestretched state, into a box formed by two hemispheres (4, 5) having openings for an adjusting element of the valve (26) and for inlet and outlet ducts, this box (7) being introduced in a pipe.
