Bottle aligning installation operate according to markings fitted on the bottle circumference prior to labelling. A conveyor receives the bottles in a rotatable state and leads them along a friction surface to produce a continuous self-rotation. The friction surface is positioned a certain distance from the movement track of the bottles fixed to the conveyor which is fitted with a rotatable friction roller bridging the distance between the friction surface and the movement path of the bottles.
