Hand crank operated wall mounted rope winch - has drum enclosed in housing with internal planetary gear to obtain compact configuration

The rope drum is held in all round enclosed housing used as frame. This housing has rope outlet opening and the rope drum has drive shaft connected to hand crank. The planetary gear drive engages with fixed toothed rim on the housing. The winch assembly has also a load safety brake (14) consisting of spring loaded hook and latch. The latter are held outside the housing. The winch is compact and ensures high transmission ratio with efficiency. It can be used for accurate load displacement or lifting.
