The cover is intended for antennae in railway systems etc., which are exposed to rough weather conditions, but must nevertheless operate with high degree reliability. Outside the aperture surface of the antenna is provided a heatable collar (5) which has a wide flange and abuts the aperture surface. The collar is of thermally conducted material. Preferably the collar has a shape inclined to at least one eaves point. Typically the cover is positively connected to the collar. In railway traffic application the collar may reach up to the effective region of the vehicle wheel tyres. Alternately the collar may be directly positively connected to the rails.
