In order that supply containers (7) having volatile media or media which thicken in contact with air can also be used for the wall dispenser, its upper edge must be able to be sealed off well without a further movement being necessary in addition to the insertion of the container (7). For this purpose, a sealing ring (1) is provided which grips around the pump body (8), is raised with its underside (11) counter to the effect of a spring (2) from the upper edge (5) of the container (7) when the latter is inserted, and thereby reliably seals off said edge. When the container is removed, the sealing ring (1) is temporarily placed against a stop projection (3). <IMAGE>
